Lesson 6 : DINING PLACES

I Favorite food Part 

Instead of asking a person about his/her favorite food, using expression [ なに が すきですか], you can specify the question to certain group only.



Q：すきな りょうりは なんですか。[sukina ryoori wa nan desuka.]
what is your favorite food
A：ロティ チャナイが すきです。[roti canai ga suki desu.]
→....name of people....... は ロティチャナイが すきです。[.......san wa roti canai ga suki desu.]


2 Dining place

You can also describe your dining place using this expression 「Place で Food を たべます／の ます].

Q：ひるごはん、どこで たべますか。[hiru gohan wo dokode tabemasuka]
A：あの みせで たべましょう。[ano misede tabemashoo]
Q：カレーですか。[karee desuka]
A：はい。あの みせの カレーは おいしいですよ。[hai. Ano mise no karee wa oishii desuyo]
Q：じゃ、そう しましょう。[ja, soo shimashoo]

Counter will be useful when you want to place order of your food in restaurants.
1 ひとつ
2 ふたつ
3 みっつ
4 よっつ
5 いつつ
6 むっつ
7 ななつ
8 やっつ
9 ここのつ
10 とお

4 Adjectives

あの みせの カレーは おいしいです。[ano mise no karee wa oishii desu]
おいしい ⇔ まずい
やすい ⇔ たかい
はやい ⇔ おそい
